Guns kill as men go to war
They give us no reason to be living for
Take away a mother's son
They injure anyone

As a mother says goodbye to her child today
She sends him to school
He is on the way
he never heard the shot that hit him in the head
Within seconds he was dead

Guns should not be used as a toy
A toy which can destroy every girl and every boy
Guns should be made for only those in special need
They make us face defeat
We don't succeed

So many acts of violence today
Guns should be taken away
We need all of this to cease
Only then will we have a world of peace
