Problems of Drugs

The problem of drug abuse remains the biggest challenge facing the countries of the world, according  to the world health organization , where thousands of young people die every year .

This phenomenon has recently spread both inside and outside our educational institutions (preparatory and secondary) ; the thing which lead to failure and school waste. Besides, drug affects the health of the addict. It affects the mind, nerves, lungs, liver, pancreas, heart, stomach, throat, teeth, etc…; leading to diarrhea, poor digestion, blood poverty and pressure, and rise of body temperature.

As a result of the above, we find ourselves in front of a sensitive subject and a serious scourge that necrosis our institutions; which must be dealt with immediately and seriously. A range of precautions should be done to prevent the involvement of other people in drug world; by monitoring educational institutions, by sharing their headmasters, teachers, local authorities, parents' associations and civil society, while redoubling efforts to combat the phenomenon.

The source of drug should be dealt with by tightening the control on all those who smuggle or propagate among citizens, in the streets, cafes, public places, the exploitation of the media, and the internet sites; to raise awareness of the citizens of its dangers.

To sum up, the question remains: who is responsible? Where is the defect? And what is the source of the drug?
